FALL HUNTING UPDATE!!!!!

Well I have been in the deer woods again this fall, but there hasn't been much to tell. No good stories and no shots yet this year. Have had some good times with the boys, (Dave, Matt, Jake, Rob, and Kyle) but just nothing to shoot at. The biggest buck that I have seen was a 4 point. Lots of does and fawns. The rut should get the bucks moving over the next two weeks, so I am hoping that things will pick up. Kyle did get a shot (his 1st) friday night at a button buck, but he killed a tree. Told him they are hard to skin and cook, but they do have a certain amount to fiber. I was glad to see him get the shot and told him he is paying his dues for now, but his day will come. We have all been there. I have included a picture from days past, just as a reminder to myself that one never knows what tomarrows hunt will be like. This one was from opening day of rifle season 2000.
